오늘 할 방법은, 위 과정에서 1) 3) 4)번을 생략하고 grub.cfg을 직접 수정하는 것입니다.
여러개의 OS를 설치하는 경우에는 grub 설정이 굉장히 많아서,복잡합니다. 그럴때,이렇게 간단히 grub.cfg 파일을 직접 수정하면 해결됩니다. 쉽고 빠르게 할수 있습니다.
터미널열고,
sudo pluma /boot/grub/grub.cfg --> 만약 수정이 안되면 퍼미션 조정 chmod 777 /boot/grub/grub.cfg
열린창에서 이 문장을 찾으세요
### BEGIN /etc/grub.d/숫자_custom ### # This file provides an easy way to add custom menu entries. Simply type the # menu entries you want to add after this comment. Be careful not to change # the 'exec tail' line above. ### END /etc/grub.d/숫자_custom ###
이 문장이 있는 곳이 명령문을 입력하던 숫자_custom 파일에 해당합니다.
바로 여기에 직접 명령문을 입력하는 겁니다. /home/user/ 에 , linuxmint-14.1-mate-dvd-64bit.iso 파일를 옮겨 두었다면 이렇게 하면 됩니다.

여기서 젤 중요한 포인트는
iso 파일을 잡아논 파티션 날리지 않게 조심하셔야 하는 것과 파티션 번호 잘 쓰고
그리고 우분투 같은 경우는 버전마다 iso 마운트 해 보시면
casper 폴더 안에 vmlinuz 가 vmlinuz.efi 로 되어 있을 수도 있다는 겁니다.
그리고 설치 부팅 후에 터미널 창 열어서 꼭 isodevice 장치를 unmount 해야 한다는 겁니다.
아니면 제대로 설치가 되지 않습니다.
